Water Damage Drywall Reconstruction in San Diego
After the leak is fixed, we rebuild the wall or ceiling so it looks like it never happened.
Rebuilding walls and ceilings after a leak
Water damage rarely stays in one spot. A slow roof leak, a plumbing failure or a supply line that lets go can soak drywall well beyond the visible stain, leaving soft spots, discoloration and sometimes mold behind the wall.
We find the full extent of the damage, remove the compromised drywall and insulation, make sure the area is dry, then rebuild and texture the wall or ceiling to match the rest of the room. We're happy to coordinate timing with your plumber, roofer or insurance adjuster.

Water Damage questions
Do you fix the leak too?
No. The leak needs to be repaired by a plumber or roofer first. Once the water source is fixed, we handle the drywall and are glad to coordinate timing with your other trades.
Can you work with my insurance company?
Yes. We can provide a detailed written estimate and photos for your claim. Coverage decisions are up to your insurer.
How do you know how far the damage goes?
We inspect beyond the visible stain and open up the wall or ceiling until we reach dry, solid material, so nothing is hidden behind the new drywall.
What about mold?
Drywall with mold growth is cut out and replaced as part of the repair. For larger mold problems, we recommend a remediation company first.
